The Hepatitis C Trust’s fundraising arm, Art on a Postcard will transform into Photography on a Postcard for the month of October.
The public will be able to purchase a ticket guaranteeing them a photograph, although they won’t know which card they have won until the show closes. The winners will be drawn using a computerised random number generator on Monday 30 October. Each photograph will be an edition of one and will come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
The photographs will be on display at theprintspace, Shoreditch from 12th – 24th October. All the money raised will go to The Hepatitis C Trust’s campaign to eliminate hepatitis C from the UK by the year 2030.
The lottery ticket guarantees a one off 10x15cms (postcard size) photograph.
One of my photos is amongst the huge collection of work, alongside Wolfgang Tillmans, Martin Parr, Dougie Wallace, Edmund Clark, Tom Hunter, Simon Norfolk, Chris Steele Perkins, Jenny Lewis, Homer Sykes, Eleanor Macnair, David Hoffman et al, and my friend Valerio Berdini. A good place to be.
